As part of his electoral promises, Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Christopher Maikalangu has performed the ground breaking ceremony to mark the commencement for the rehabilitation of Karmo Tsoho township road in the Council.
Maikalangu during the ceremony of the Karmo Tsoho road project said that the unabated streak in roads construction and rehabilitation is in line with the FCT development roadmap demonstrated by the minister of the FCT, Nyesome Wike.
The AMAC Chairman called on residents and property owners to cooperate with engineers as they make inroads in readiness for a modern road network in Karmo Tsoho, adding that they need to monitor contractors for optimal delivery on quality project.
The Head of Works and Housing, Andrew Gaza, disclosed that the road will be asphalted, with drainages, as this would bring economic development in the community.
The Hakimi of Karmo Tsoho, Sariki Umar Danladi appreciated the Chairman and implored him to consider employment opportunities for his people, adding that opportunities are always diverted to New Karmo, whereas they have many graduates that are unemployed.
