Maina arrives court with walking stick

Previous Chairman of the dead Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, on Monday showed up the Federal High Court, Abuja, with the guide of a mobile stick.

Maina, who came into Court 6, second floor of the structure at 9:40am, bolstered himself with the strolling stick after he showed up in court in a wheelchair last week.

The ex-benefits change chief, who is standing preliminary on supposed tax evasion charge to the tune of over N2bn favored against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, was wearing a dark colored caftan with a coordinating top, as per the News Agency of Nigeria.

Equity Abang had on November 21 fixed Monday for hearing on the bail application and for the continuation of his preliminary.

The judge, who blamed the Nigerian Correctional Services for intensifying the issue under the watchful eye of the court for neglecting to deliver a medicinal report on the wellbeing status of Maina days after the request with the impact was made by the court, decided that Maina’s preliminary would be on an everyday premise in resulting procedures.

His preliminary was slowed down during the last suspended date because of his intensifying wellbeing condition.

The EFCC had on October 25, charged Maina close by his firm, Common Input Property and Investment Ltd, before Justice Abang.

Despite the fact that he argued not blameworthy to the 12-check charge, his preliminary presently can’t seem to gain important ground because of his wellbeing.
