Mammoth crowd as Buhari campaign storms Jos

Jos Airport Heipang and Rwang Pam stadium Jos was agog as a mammoth crowd trooped the Airport and Jos stadium to await the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari for his campaign in the state at the weekend.

Our correspondent reports that Members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), from different parts of the state and party supporters were also seen colorfully dressed to receive the number one citizen of the country.

President Buhari stormed the Rwang Pam stadium at about 2:59 pm on Saturday to the stadium that was filled to its capacity after he was received by Gov Lalong at the Jos airport .

As the crowd surged forward ,the public address system was disconnected making it difficult for the President and other dignitaries to talk ,

However President Buhari presented the Governorship flag of the party to Governor Lalong .

Alhaji Nagelu Garaba an APC stalwart said that the president’s visit was a welcome development.

He said because of the love the people of the state have for the APC, people of the state have trooped to the stadium and airport to receive the President

‘‘ we pray that he would win the presidential election and the country will be changed for good, “he said.

I am overwhelmed with the crowd and the airport and stadium ,he stressed .

Nagelu also said President Buhari deserved second term so that he could complete his fight against corruption .

‘‘We are here to give our full support to President Buhari to run for second term.

“He has done well in the areas of road project, creation of jobs, and fight against corruption among others.

‘‘So we decided we must give him the needed support to finish the good work he has started,”

Our correspondent reports that the Adams Oshomole, the Director General of the President Buhari campaign Rotimi Ameachi ,Pauline Tallen one time deputy Governor amongst others .
