The management team of Nigerian music star 2Baba has expressed concern over what it describes as internal issues negatively affecting the singer’s career and international growth.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, members of the team said several strategic plans aimed at expanding 2Baba’s global presence had been disrupted.
One team member, while stressing the importance of touring and building audiences abroad, said the singer must recognise “business realities,” adding that the alleged interference was unhealthy for his brand. “2Baba needs to recognise that this woman is bad for business,” he claimed.
The representatives maintained that while the artiste’s personal life is respected, the professional setbacks cannot be ignored. They avoided commenting on family matters, saying the situation was “deeper than what is seen online.”
Sharing their frustrations, a team member described uncomfortable experiences in the singer’s home, saying he witnessed things he “wasn’t meant to see” and now “needs therapy” as a result.
Another recalled that the team had mapped out an ambitious international roadmap for 2Baba, which included a UK and African tour, stadium-level concerts, and government-supported engagements in multiple countries.
They insisted that these plans were close to execution before being halted. According to the management, “Natasha came and said no. We’re stamping everything down. We can’t move.”
The team reiterated their long-standing goal of elevating 2Baba to greater global recognition, citing African icons such as Angélique Kidjo as benchmarks.
