Aleksandar Mitrovic, the Fulham star, has lauded Joao Palhinha, an Arsenal target, as the standout signing of the recently concluded Premier League season. Mitrovic praised the 27-year-old midfielder, who joined Fulham from Sporting CP for £20 million last summer, describing him as an exceptional player for their team in an interview with The Fulham Fix.
Fulham star Aleksandar Mitrovic has hailed Arsenal target Joao Palhinha, rating him as the best signing of the just-concluded Premier League season.
Mitrovic praised the 27-year-old midfielder, who joined Fulham from Sporting CP last summer for £20 million.
Mitrovic told The Fulham Fix that the Portuguese have worked out to be an amazing player for his side.
“I think this year there’s been some sensational [signings] that we have made. For me personally, [Joao] Palhinha is the signing of the season so far, amazing, amazing [player].”
Palhinha made 40 appearances across competitions for Fulham, scoring four goals and was instrumental in the side’s superb first season back in the Premier League and he has caught the eye of Arsenal.
According to the Sun, Arsenal are in the front queue of three Premier League clubs eyeing a move for the Portuguese.
