Nasarawa Speaker hails victory of two lawmakers, Omadefu, Musa at re-run elections

“… congratulates Hon. Omadefu, Hon. Musa says their victory justify their popularity, trust among the electorates…”

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has hailed the victory of two members of the House, Hon. Muhammed Adamu Omadefu and Hon. Musa Abubakar Ibrahim at the just concluded re-run elections in Nasarawa State.

Speaker Jatau while reacting to their victory said it has justified the lawmakers popularity and trust among their people and called on the opponents to join hands with the lawmakers to build their constituencies and the State at large.

The Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen congratulated Hon. Muhammed Adamu Omadefu of APC Keana constituency and Hon. Musa Abubakar Ibrahim of NNPP Doma South constituency for their resounding victories at the re-run elections.

Speaker Jatau commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a hitch free exercise and the security agencies for ensuring a peaceful atmosphere through out the exercise.

Speaker Jatau also commended the electorates for having faith in the lawmakers and re-elected them during the re-run elections while emphasizing that with the completion of the exercise, the Nasarawa State House of Assembly is now fully completed to carry out its responsibilities.

The Nasarawa State Number One Lawmaker re-affirmed the 7th Assembly’s commitment under his watch to leave no stone unturned to deliver on their mandate as well as enhance effective synergy with other arms of government for accelerated development.
