Natasha Osawaru: Meet the Edo Lawmaker Linked to 2Baba

By Abigail Philip David

Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has sparked fresh controversy after hinting at a romantic relationship with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.

This revelation follows reports of his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia, with 2Baba openly expressing his desire to pursue a future with Osawaru. Speculation intensified on Monday after he made a surprise appearance at the Edo State House of Assembly during plenary, adding to rumors fueled by a viral video of the duo at a Lagos nightclub.

On Tuesday, the singer addressed the swirling rumors in an Instagram video captioned, “To Whom It May kwansighn. I don yarn my truth. Feel free to continue alleging. We shall all be alright.” He firmly denied claims that Osawaru played a role in his split from Annie.

“I have seen so many false narratives and malicious nonsense after I posted what I posted. Yes, I said what I said,” 2Baba stated.

“Hon. Natasha has been dragged, labeled a homebreaker, and insulted unfairly. She is a brilliant, young, and amazing woman who had nothing to do with my marital issues.”

He then made a bold declaration: “Yes, I love her. She is amazing, she is cool, and I want to marry her.”

Following his statement, Natasha Osawaru became the top-trending topic on X (formerly Twitter) by Wednesday morning, as social media erupted with reactions.
