National Police Day: Sokoto  Police Command  Celebrate Day

In continuation to mark National Police Day, the Sokoto State Police Command successfully conducted a Walkathon for Strength and Partnership Building as well as Sanitation and Cleanup exercise of Public Places. 

These events aimed at promoting a cleaner and safer environment, as well as unity and partnership between the Police and the community.

The Police spokesperson further said the sanitation exercise which was led by the State Commissioner of Police, CP  Ahmed Musa,psc  brought together community members and Police personnel, who worked collectively to enhance the beauty and hygiene of public places. 

In attendance was the Special Adviser to the Governor Sokoto State on Enviromental Protection Agency, Tukur Toro. 

The Walkathon, which featured various activities that include warm-up sessions and road work, demonstrated the commitment of the Police and the community in promoting health, fitness, and community spirit.  

The Commissioner of Police expressed his appreciation to the participants and urged everyone to join the Command in the celebrations, promote a healthier and more united Sokoto Chaliphate.
