NCPC counts gains of 9th Batch of Pilgrims in Jordan

By Joyce Remi-Babayeju

The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, has counted gains in the ongoing Pilgrimage to Jordan and Israel.
The Coordinator of the pilgrims, Ebenezer Awogbemi who spoke to Journalists in Jordan after a 3 days tour of Holy sites , expressed happiness that the 9th batch of pilgrims have exhibited cooperation, making the tour in Jordan very okay.
The NCPC Coordinator said that some factors which had contributed to the success recorded in Jordan pilgrimage include good hotel accommodation, good food , functional medical team and the NCPC staff trying their best for the pilgrims.
He explained that the only challenge experienced is that pilgrims complained about some rules, which the Commission has resolved.
He also attributed the successful three days tour in Jordan to God’s help.

However, pilgrims were advised to maintain their good conduct as they proceed to Isreal to complete their pilgrimage exercise.
Holy sites visited in Jordan by the pilgrims include King Herod’s palace where John the Baptist was imprisioned and beheaded, Nebo Church of Moses at Nebo Mount , the Jabbok river where Jacob encountered an Angel, the Umm Gays Museum and the Golan Heights by the River Jordan.
The pilgrims are expected to proceed on Sunday to visit more of Holy sites in Israel.
