“NCPC Executive Urges Muslims to Emulate Prophet Muhammad’s Virtues on Eid-el-Maulud”

In a statement issued on September 27, 2023, Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), encouraged Muslims to reflect on and emulate the virtues of Prophet Muhammad as they celebrate Eid-el-Maulud.

Rev. Pam, as conveyed by NCPC Spokesperson Celestine Toruka, also called upon Muslims to incorporate the spirit of inter-faith harmony in their interactions with individuals of other faiths. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and urged Muslim leaders in Nigeria to educate their followers with the correct doctrines that promote responsible living and positive contributions to society.

Highlighting the economic and other challenges currently facing Nigeria, Rev. Yakubu Pam urged Muslims to uphold their nation and its leaders in prayer, seeking divine mercy for the country. He additionally encouraged support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration through prayers, acknowledging the government’s dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
