NCPC Mourns Death of Chief Moses Adediran Adegbite at 86

The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has mourned the death of Chief Moses Adediran Adegbite, father of the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Bishop Prof Stephen Adegbite, who passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 86, after a brief illness.

In a press statement issued on Friday by Celestine Toruka, NCPC ,Deputy Director and Head, Media and Public Relations, late Chief Adediran Adegbite was a respected community leader and devout Christian from Fiditi, Afijio Local Government Area of Oyo State, who lived a life of selfless service to God and humanity.

He will be remembered for his impactful legacy and contributions to the community.

The Commission extends its heartfelt condolences to Bishop Adegbite and the entire Adegbite family at this moment of their bereavement.

“May the Good Lord grant them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss, and may Chief Adegbite’s gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Lord,” the statement read.
