NCPC Nasarawa to partner in youth agricultural empowerment, peace building initiative

As a way to eschewing violence in the country, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christians Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Rev Yakubu Pam has called for partnership with the Nasarrawa State government on an agricultural empowerment for youths and peace building initiative.
Rev Pam made this gesture at the Government House Lafia during a sensitization visit to the Gov. Abdullahi Sule.


He noted that the Northern Nigeria is blessed with vast land mass which is suitable for agricultural activities and therefore urged the governor to key into the commission’s programme on agriculture in Israel where youths are trained on Agricultural skills acquisition.
He further explained that that since Nasarrawa State is dear to the presidency, I t is pertinent to partner with the governor on peace building, adding that he would work with the governor to convene a peace summit in the state.
He however commended the governor for the infrastructural development in the state within his shirt period in office.
Gov. Sule stressed the importance of peace in national development, adding that it is a vital to every societal development.
He promised to partner with NCPC in agricultural empowerment of his people.
