NATIONAL Directorate of Employment, NDE, has commenced registration of unemployed persons in the state for its various empowerment training schemes.
NDE state Coordinator, Alh. Idris Dauda Wasse, who disclosed this today in a press statement made available to newsmen in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa state, explained that the measure was in line with the organisation’s continuous efforts at providing job opportunities to all Nigerians has.
The statement called on interested persons to register for Basic National Open Apprenticeship Scheme, B-NOAS, Advanced National Open Apprenticeship Scheme, A,-NOAS, Environmental Beautification Training Scheme, EBTS, Sustainable Agricultural Development Training Scheme, SADTS, and Basic Business Training schemes, among others.
“All interested persons are to go and register at the NDE State Office in Lafia or with the NDE Desk Officer in any of the 13 LGC Secretariats in the State”
“Consequently, all interested unemployed persons are hereby enjoined to take advantage of this opportunity to empower themselves with the necessary skills that will enable them go into self employment for self reliance”. The statement read in parts.
