NDLEA uncovers large cache Tramadol at Apapa port

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has uncovered over three hundred and forty million tablets of Tramadol at the Apapa Sea Port in Lagos.

The tablets of various dosages ranging from 120 to 250 milligrams were recovered from 12 containers during a search operation at the sea port.

NDLEA spokesperson Jonah Achema in a statement said twelve out of twenty eight containers released for search by the Nigeria Custom Service contained Tramadol noting that the containers have been on their watchlist since 2017.
