The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially published the timetable for the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) for internal or school-based candidates, marking the beginning of an important period for senior secondary school students nationwide.

As per the recent update on NECO’s official platform, @Neconigeria, the examinations are set to commence on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, and will conclude on Friday, July 26, 2024. The release of the timetable has prompted students and educators alike to kickstart their preparations for the upcoming exams.

A spokesperson for NECO emphasized the importance of being well-prepared and confident in tackling the examination papers. “We are dedicated to maintaining the integrity and high standards of educational assessment, crucial for the academic and professional future of our students,” the spokesperson stated.

Educators are encouraged to utilize the detailed examination schedule to devise effective teaching strategies and revision plans for their students. It’s a critical time for educators to provide guidance and support to ensure thorough preparation in each subject.

Candidates are urged to visit the official NECO website, https://www.neco.gov.ng, to access and download the detailed timetable. They should also stay updated on any revisions or changes to the examination schedule.
