NEMA gets 180 Nigerians from Libya

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has gotten another clump of 180 stranded Nigerians from Libya.

Alhaji Idris Muhammed, Coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office of NEMA, affirmed the improvement to newsmen on Tuesday in Lagos.

Muhammed said the Nigerians touched base at the Cargo Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at about 9.30 p.m. on Monday on board a sanctioned Buraq air ship with enrollment number 5A-DMG .

As indicated by him, they were brought back by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and European Union under the Assisted Voluntary Returnees (AVR) Program.

He stated: “The returnees are comprised of 82 female grown-ups, two female kids and 11 female newborn children.

“Likewise, there are 79 male grown-ups, one male kid and five male newborn children making up 95 females and 85 guys.”

Respecting the returnees, Muhammed prompted them to put their unpleasant encounters in the unstable North African nation behind them and look to the future with restored trust.

He urged every one of the sections of the general public to see the threat of unpredictable relocations as crisis circumstance.

As per him, any circumstance where a life is under danger is viewed as crisis hazard and all hands must be on deck to keep the risk.

Muhammed in this way, charged the media, governments and non-legislative associations just as guardians to unite in stemming the tide of unpredictable movement in the nation.

Daybreak reports that another bunch of 160 Nigerians are likewise expected to arrive today (Tuesday) from Libya at about 8.30 p.m.
