The new Principal of Command Day Secondary School at Giginya Army Barracks Sokoto, Major O.A Fagbohunlun has expressed delight with the activities exhibited at the Female Continuity Agency, moreso how the state government under the leadership of Governor Tambuwal takes adequate care of the students, providing all materials for them to learn with ease.
She called on the Agency to look for possibilities on how to sponsor some of them to move forward in their educational activities as well as skill acquisition programs, workshops and other ways of reducing poverty among other things.
Responding, Special Adviser for the Agency, Hajiya Aeesha Maina said the visit was a challenge and motivator for them to improve their activities as what has been discussed during the short period of the visit becomes another booster on the them and the state government.
She informed the Major of the renovation and construction of some blocks at the Command School as well as providing reading materials and vehicle to ease transportation problems.
“You should complement the state government’s efforts by considering admissions of the indigenes of the state in the Command school”, averred Aeesha.
She also informed the Command School Principal, Major Fagbohunlun that the Agency under the leadership of Governor Tambuwal is going to increase more activities in the school under the Agency for women to adequately assist their households.
