New DG of Signage and Advertising Agency Cautions Against Indiscriminate Placement of Billboards, Others

The new Director General in charge of Benue State Signage and Advertising Agency, Chief Solomon Iorpev, has warned the general public against indiscriminate placement of billboards, and other advertising platforms within and outside the state capital.

In a statement made available to  Daybreak Nigeria, Chief Iorpev explained that such improper placements deface the city centers, urging all and sundry to henceforth desist from unauthorized placements of adverts among others.

Chief Iorpev, who is also the Technical Adviser to the Benue State Governor on Media, Publicity and Strategic Communication, implored the general public to adhere to due process by obtaining permits from the Benue State Urban Development Board before placing advert.

 The Director General, admonishes organizations and individuals who are owing payments of Signages and Advertisements to proceed for payments, stressing that the agency will soon embark on enforcement.
