NFF inaugurates caretaker committee for Anambra FA

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has inaugurated a Caretaker Committee for the Anambra State Football Association following its rejection of election results into the Association.

The NFF announced it was nullifying the election which returned incumbent Ifeanyi Ubah as Chairman of the Anambra Football Association

The Caretaker Committee is to take charge for three months and then conduct fresh elections into the Association’s board.

The Chairman and member of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Board, Mr Ibrahim Gusau, who performed the inauguration in Awka, on behalf of President of NFF, Amaju Pinnick, said the committee was duly constituted since the tenure of Mr Ubah elapsed on August 2.

The Committee is headed by Emeka Okeke, who contested in the anulled election.

Other members of the Committee include Victor Nwangwu as Vice Chairman, Nonso Philip, Charity Okonkwo, Chimezie Onyeabo and Chijioke Onyedika.
