NGO Donates Sanitary Materials to Affected Communities in Sokoto

In response to a suspected outbreak of a deadly illness that has claimed several lives in Waziri B Ward, Sokoto North Local Government, the Rain Healthcare Initiative and Good Leadership have donated sanitary materials to affected communities as part of their emergency response efforts.

The team, led by Usman Hamza, Executive Director and CEO of the Rain Healthcare Initiative and Good Leadership, handed over the materials to the Ward Head of Waziri B for distribution to the local community members.

Alhaji Garba Ladan, the Ward Head, expressed his gratitude for the kind gesture and assured that the materials would be distributed fairly to benefit all community members.

During the presentation, a health officer from the Sokoto North Local Government, who supervised the event, emphasized the importance of maintaining good hygiene to prevent further spread of the illness. He also praised the generous donation made by both organizations.
