NHIA To Collaborate With SOCHEMA To Yield Better Health Activities

Director General Sokoto State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency Mal. Yusuf Abu Abdulkarim assured his redness to collaborate with the National Health Insurance Authority in order to yield more activities concerning health issues.

The DG made the promise while receiving the Acting Zonal Coordinator of the National Health Insurance Athority North West Office Alhaji Ibrahim Gwamba who paid him a courtesy visit at his Office situated at Shehu Kangiwa Secretariat Sokoto.

In his remarks during the visit,the Acting Zonal Coordinator North West Office Mal. Ibrahim Gwamba who was along with the Acting State Coordinator NHIA Office Sokoto Dr. Aminu Shehu and his entourage told the DG SOCHEMA that they are at his Office to Congratulate him over his recent appointment as DG SOCHEMA and also to seek for more collaboration with the Agency.

He further said the National Health Insurance Authority and Sokoto State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency have the same mandate of providing Accessable, Affordable and Qualitative Healthcare Services to all residents of Sokoto State.

Responding,the Director General thanked him and his entourage for the visit and Pray for Allah to reward them abundantly.

In a related Development the Zonal NHIA along with DG and Directors from Sokoto State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency visited the Hon. Commishioner Ministry of Health Sokoto Hon. Hajiya Asabe Balarabe where similar issues with regards to the Health Insurance and Contributory Healthcare were discussed.

The two visit were witnessed by the Staff of NHIA Office Sokoto as well as SOCHEMA Staff among others.
