Niger Delta Indigenous Contractors Association laudes Chief Sam Ogbuku, NDDC on the Proposed Niger Delta Stakeholders Summit

The Niger Delta Indigenous Contractors Association has lauded the Managing Director/CEO, Chief Samuel Ogbuku-led administration of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for the upcoming Niger Delta Stakeholders Summit scheduled to hold on the 10th-13th July 2024, the Managing Director/CEO and the entire NDDC team deserve commendation for their proactive approach to engaging stakeholders in the region.

The president of the association, Chief Dressman Darlinton, stated that this is the first of its kind in the region and that the proposed summit presents a significant opportunity for key stakeholders in the Niger Delta to come together and deliberate on crucial issues affecting the region, It is a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and the formulation of strategies to drive sustainable development in the Niger Delta.

Chief Dressman further said NDDC, under the leadership of the Managing Director/CEO, Chief Samuel Ogbuku, has demonstrated a commitment to inclusive governance and participatory decision-making. By convening the summit, the Ogbuku-led NDDC is fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and collective responsibility among stakeholders.

Hon. Daddy Kelvin Gigi also speaking in Port-Harcourt said the summit will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, best practices, and innovative solutions to address the multifaceted challenges facing the Niger Delta. It will also serve as a platform for showcasing the region’s potential for economic growth, investment, and sustainable development.

Furthermore, Chief Dressman stated that the NDDC’s proactive approach to engaging stakeholders through the summit reflects a genuine desire to harness the collective wisdom and expertise of the Niger Delta community. By involving diverse voices and perspectives, the NDDC is laying the groundwork for a more inclusive and holistic approach to regional and infrastructure development.
