Nigerian celebrities show Cynthia Morgan support without hearing Jude Okoye’s side of the story

Nigerian celebrities have thrown their weight behind Cynthia Morgan after she opened up on facing depression since her music career collapsed.

In an Instagram live chat, Cynthia Morgan stated that her former record label boss Jude Okoye took a lot from her including her stage name.

Her cries appealed to some celebrities who reacted without hearing Jude Okoye’s own side of the story which has now labelled Cynthia Morgan’s claims as lies.

Davido who was once insulted by Cynthia Morgan brushed aside the past and offered to help her.

“Tell Cynthia I got an anthem for her ….. I’ll record my verse verse now”, he shared.

The action by Jude Okoye was condemned by OAP Do2dtun who shared: “On the real I don’t understand why we all don’t see how wrong these things can turn out. Cynthia Morgan was a promising artiste. This girl was literally on fire. You took her name, took her growth. Why can’t you renegotiate? This has moved from just business to sheer wickedness”.

Ex-BBNaija star, Tacha who was highly inspired by Cynthia Morgan’s music back in school also threw in support.

She wrote: “Firstly let me start off by saying that I’m currently in a state of SULLEN
Few years ago CYNTHIA MORGAN was UNSTOPPABLE her ART was UNIQUE
Personally I first fell in love with “Don’t Break My Heart” back then in school, my 200lvl to be more precise”.

OAP Toke Makinwa who regards herself as a huge fan of the singer took to social media where she wrote: “It’s easier said than done, I may not have all the answers, it is a sad situation for both parties, hoping they both can work something out. I’m such a huge fan of Cynthia Morgan and I can’t deny the genius that Jude is too. We just want music”.
