“Nigerian Workers Protest Hardship, Halt Ministerial Nominee Screening”

In a recent development, members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) took to the streets and occupied the Nigerian National Assembly complex to protest against the hardships caused by the removal of petroleum subsidy. They expressed frustration over the inability to provide for their families and commute to work, highlighting the worsening poverty in the country.
