Nkechi Blessing Raises Alarm on Third Mainland Bridge Safety, Urges Caution

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has issued a warning to motorists, cautioning them against driving at high speeds on the recently reconstructed Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos. The actress, recounting her recent experience on the bridge, revealed that she almost had an accident despite not driving at full speed. She expressed concerns about the safety of the bridge, describing it as a potential “death trap.”

Nkechi shared that a friend recently lost his life on the bridge, making her question whether the reconstruction would be a blessing or a curse for Lagos residents. Despite acknowledging the improved aesthetics and smoothness of the new bridge, she emphasized the need for drivers to avoid high speeds, recounting a recent incident where her steering almost went out of control.

The actress urged motorists not to overlook the potential risks associated with the new Third Mainland Bridge and pleaded for responsible driving. She shared her grief over the loss of her friend and emphasized the importance of avoiding untimely deaths caused by over-speeding on the bridge.
