NNPP will sweep the polls in Bauchi – Rep aspirant

By Mike Oboh

As campaigns into various elective positions in the 2019 general election kick off, the candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP for Bauchi Federal Constituency, Mallam Zubairu Sani, is optimistic that the party will sweep the pools in the state.

Sani, a retired FIFA badge referee told the Nigerian Pilot yesterday in Abuja that the party whose manifesto is centered on grassroots development and peopled by a new generation of Nigerians will work hard with the people of the state to effect the desired change in the political leadership in the State.

He said based on his antecedent as a grassroots politician, his wish to aspire to be one of the members of the House of Representatives come 2019 will be made possible as the people in his constituency are set to get a new leader who will key into their dreams and aspirations.
“I was once a councilor in my local government and I know what it takes to formulate laws for the good of my people, I decided to join the NNPP to achieve this because of the party’s manifesto because that is the desire of my people who I want to serve,” Sani said.

Sani, who is also the Secretary of the Referees Appointment Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF said with knowledge of sports and its people, the drive to see the party succeed in the general election through the mobilization of the younger generation will be of added value.
He was also of the view that with the people voting in the candidates of their choice, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC will do justice to the pools by declaring the rightful winners.

“NNPP is a new generation based party and I am confident that we will sweep the polls in the state, our party is a new revolution which will spring surprise in the polls. I believe in the ability of INEC to deliver its goods,” he added.
