Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Zone D(North Central)has presented Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State with the award of Champion of Continuity in Governance in Nigeria.
The event which took place in Lafia the state capital today brought together journalists within and outside the state including the national leadership of the union.
The Governor was also given the patron of NUJ in the North Central Nigeria during the brief but colorful event.
Speaker NSHA Rt.Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi was represented at the event by Chairman House Committee on Information Hon.Mohammed Adamu Omadefu who described the event as timely,reflective and the first of its kind.
While noting that the award will encourage the Governor to do more he assured him of the state lawmakers support at all times to enable him succeed in repositioning the state for the good of all.
The House leader Hon Umar Tanko Tunga was among dignitaries that attended the occasion.
