NUJ Sokoto State Council Condoles Minister of Labour Over Mother’s Demise

The Sokoto State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has expressed condolences to the Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Hawwa’u Abubakar Dingyadi.

Led by its Chairman, Usman Muhammed Binji, the NUJ leadership visited the Minister at his residence in Sokoto to offer their sympathies. During the visit, Binji described the death of Hajiya Hawwa’u as a profound loss not only to her family but also to the entire state.

In a statement issued by the Secretary of the Council, Binji praised the late Hajiya Hawwa’u for living a fulfilled and exemplary life. He prayed for Allah to grant her eternal rest and give her family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.

Responding on behalf of the family, Minister Dingyadi expressed gratitude to the NUJ for their support and prayers during this difficult time. He also prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the Council for their kind gesture.

Hajiya Hawwa’u Abubakar Dingyadi, aged 93, passed away on Thursday after a prolonged illness. She is survived by many children, including Minister Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

May her soul rest in peace.
