NYA Makes New Appointment, Picks Dr. Rita Akpan Egon As National Vice Chair South-south.

The leadership of the National Youth Alliance (NYA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Rita Akpan Egon as the National Vice Chairperson for the South-South Region.

Dr. Egon will play a pivotal role in coordinating the NYA agenda and the broader Nigeria First Initiative in the South-South, ensuring that our movement for political ownership, economic sovereignty, and national transformation takes firm root in the region.

With her wealth of experience, passion for development, and commitment to the cause, she will drive grassroots mobilization, youth engagement, and policy advocacy to strengthen our vision for a better Nigeria.

Today is even more special as we celebrate Dr. Rita Akpan Egon’s birthday—a fitting moment to honor a leader whose dedication to service continues to inspire. We wish her many more years of impact, strength, and success in this new role and beyond.
