Okoroacha presents his last budget to Imo Assembly

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has presented the 2019 budget estimate of over Two Hundred and Seventy Six billion Naira to the State House of Assembly for consideration and passage into law.

The fiscal bill is tagged “Budget of Consolidation and Economic Stability”.

Governor Okorocha while addressing the State lawmakers on the 2019 fiscal estimate, first took time to enumarete the success story of his administration in the areas of infrastructure developments and good governance.

The Governor says the 2019 fiscal estimate which is put at Two Hundred and Seventy Six Billion, Eight Hundred and Eighteen Million, Seventy One Thousand, Eight Hundred and Twelve Naira is aimed at consolidating the developmental strides of the government and create economic stability in the state.

Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Acho Ihim commemds the Governor for what he calls the cordial working relationship that has existed between the executive and legislative arms.

The 2019 budget presentation ceremony is the last to be made by the Governor Rochas Okorocha’s eight years administration which winds down on 28th May 2019.
