It is exactly one year since his Excellency, the executive governor of Kano state, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje appointed Dr. Kabir Bello Dungurawa as the Rector of the state polytechnic.
On assuming office, the new rector brought out his seven points agendas in order to serve as guide for governing his administrative policies at both academic and non academic pursuits like what is being really enjoined today.
This have shown that the rector came with a determination towards the progress of the polytechnic more especially at all the schools that are under their domain, which is an important factor that is in influencing academic progress at both schools under the organization.
With the designed seven points agendas, Dr. Dungurawa is now becoming more successful in implementing his policies and this has proven that in the near future, the kano state polytechnic would retain it’s statue as one of the best tertiary arena in this great country especially at present when there is a stronger competition educationally.
One of the most important factor that is influencing the progress at kano state polytechnic is how the rector, Dr. Kabir Bello Dungurawa partners with different educational and non-academic organisations and other federal and states government authorities in achieving a collaborative progress which seems to be one of the most populous actions that is becoming profitable that re being enjoyed by the kano state polytechnic in one year.
Although it would take much time to reveal all what has been achieved by the Dr. Kabir Bello Dungurawa administration, it is gratifying to note that kano state polytechnic is getting full recognition from all hands, while the rector in his one year anniversary remark stated that:
” We would continue to do our best in managing the affairs of kano state polytechnic because we are being supported by his Excellency the executive governor of kano state Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and I am certain that kano state polytechnic would continue to be great at all levels”.
In conclusion, the rector commended both the senior and junior staff of the polytechnic for their dedication to duties and assured that all hands would continue to be on deck to makes the place more developed in terms of all academic and bong academic pursuits.
