The Proprietor of Padra Clinic, an expert in Nanomicro Technology, specialising hair transplant and restoration services, Heidar Fakhrael, has expressed concern over widespread movement of rich Nigerians abroad for treatment and vowed to make greater in – road into Nigeria and Africa with a view to remedying medical tourism.

Speaking in an interview in Uyo, the State capital, Fakhrael, explained that Padra Clinic, an international healthcare institution, “has made a name for itself in the field of Nanomicro technology, for hair transplants, beard transplants, and eyebrow restoration.”

Established in the Middle East in 2000 Fakhraei, recalled that “Padra’s journey began with its first clinic in Kuwait, focusing on hair treatments like transplants, mesotherapy, and PRP therapy.”

She said: “Over the years, Padra experienced significant growth, leading to the establishment of multiple clinics in Kuwait and expanding its reach beyond borders. The clinic’s reputation as a trusted entity attracted clients from various countries, including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Oman.

“In 2017, Padra made a significant mark by launching its flagship clinic in Dubai, located near the iconic Burj Khalifa. This ultra-modern facility boasts of over 40 surgery rooms and performs more than 50 hair transplants daily, catering to international patients worldwide.

“In response to the increasing demand for its services, Padra expanded further by opening a branch in Qatar in 2022, equipped with over 20 surgical rooms to meet the region’s needs. With an annual patient base exceeding 100,000 and conducting over 300 hair transplants daily in the Middle East, Padra has solidified its position as a leading healthcare provider in the field of surgical hair restoration.”

She also stated that the expertise had also been taken to the Americas, particularly North America, recalling that; “In 2024, Padra set its sights on North America, launching its Toronto clinic in the vibrant Yorkville district to serve the growing market in the region.”
