PDP Fractional BoT to Hold States Congresses

By Joyce Rémi-Babayeju

The Fractional Board of Trustees, BoT, of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has disclosed the intention to hold states Congresses as a way of restoring confidence in the party in unmet states.

PDP BoT, Chairman, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, in a meeting on Sunday in Abuja, reaffirmed the commitment of the body to restoring confidence within the party and organizing congresses in states where they have not yet been held.

He noted that the national leadership is ready to work collaboratively with all state chapters to bring fresh leadership and stability to the party across the country.

Sen. Ohuabunwa at the meeting outlined the PDP’s roadmap, namely, to conduct overdue state congresses, consolidate ongoing achievements, and support the national leadership to steer the party back on course.

According to him, these steps are critical to ensuring unity, transparency, and strengthening grassroots engagements.

By holding timely congresses and reinforcing organizational discipline, PDP hopes to rebuild trust among members and present a more organized, credible front ahead of future elections, Sen. Ohuabunwa stated.
