PDP Holds Quarterly Meeting to Strategize for 2027 Elections

By Muhammad Ibrahim, Sokoto

The Sokoto State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Saturday held a quarterly executive members meeting to discuss strategies for winning the 2027 general elections.

State party chairman, Bello Aliyu Goronyo, addressed the gathering, expressing confidence that the party would emerge victorious in 2027 with divine support.

“The party plans to educate its members on the current state of the nation, highlighting issues such as the high cost of living and insecurity.”

Goronyo attributed the country’s challenges to the lack of quality leadership from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), claiming that PDP’s governance would address these issues.

PDP’s Vision for 2027 as Goronyo further said is that the party aims to take over Nigeria in 2027, promising to rectify the perceived damages caused by the APC.

“The PDP in Sokoto State has been celebrating recent victories, including the wins of its candidates in rerun polls for the Yabo/Shagari Federal Constituency and Bodinga North State Constituency. These successes may boost the party’s confidence as they gear up for the 2027 elections”, Goronyo averred.
