The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has commenced its crucial meeting in Abuja.
Presiding over the session is the party’s Acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, with the meeting holding at the PDP’s national headquarters, Wadata Plaza.
A major item on the agenda is the upcoming elective national convention, where new members of the National Working Committee (NWC) will be chosen in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
The NEC meeting kicked off shortly after a gathering of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT) at the same venue.
Also in attendance are key PDP figures, including Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, as well as Governors Agbu Kefas (Taraba), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), and Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa).
