The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, has embarked on a two million prayer match against the Precarious security situation currently bedeviling the country.
Vice President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Prophet Isah Igube made this disclosure on Thursday when he paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom at the Government House Makurdi.
The Clergy noted that they had prayed without seizing for God to intervene in the challenges confronting the country which he said has crippled the nation’s economy.
Prophet Igube called on Nigerians with conscience to come together to deliver the country from evil hands, even as he implored President Muhammadu Buhari to rise to his responsibility of protecting Nigerians.
Responding, Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom said the two million prayer match wouldn’t have come at a better time than this, urging the the Church and the entire body of Christ to rise and save the nation from bandage.
Ortom informed the Vice President of PFN that his administration has gotten the backing of the Benue Stakeholders to acquire licensed weapons to enable them defend themselves against terrorists and herdsmen who attack and kill innocent citizens.
The Governor explained that the community Volunteer Guards allowed by Law would be recruited in large numbers to work with other security operatives to secure the land, adding that posterity would judge those who are collaborating to perpetrate evil.
