“The government commends the bravery and sacrifice of security personnel and local vigilantes who lost their lives while confronting the attackers,” the statement said. “Their courage and dedication remain a testament to their commitment to the safety of Plateau communities. ”The state government reaffirmed its commitment to protecting lives and property and pledged stronger security measures to address threats in the affected areas. Authorities also urged residents to remain calm and vigilant, and to support security agencies by providing credible information that could assist ongoing operations.
