Plateau -More groups pass vote of confidence on  Speaker Dewan

Another group Plateau Young and Vibrant Professionals on Monday unanimously  passed  vote  of confidence on  the Speaker of the Plateau state House of Assembly Rt Hon Gabriel Dewan Kudangbena. 

The group said it remained solidly behind the Speaker of the state House of Assembly Rt Hon Gabriel Dewan.

The group led by Hon Sunday Joshua Yilkur in a press release made available to our correspondent said Speaker Dewan has done excellently well and should be allowed to remain in office as Speaker. 

They added that Dewan possesses the requisite competence, capacity, and character is currently providing the needed stability for the Plateau House of Assembly.

Rt. Hon. Gabriel is by law the speaker of Plateau State House of assembly and by virtue of his designation and as the third citizen of the state, he should be respected and cooperated with especially for the good works he is doing. 

Seeing his youthful energy channeled towards harnessing the potentials of the youth for their interest and state, is worthy of everyone’s support. 

“The leadership of the 10th Assembly, under Speaker Dewan is performing its constitutional responsibilities and complementing the state government’s effort to develop the state.”

“The speaker has done a lot in not only uniting the members of the Plateau House but has also exhibited a high sense of maturity in piloting the affairs of the House.”

” The manner in which the Speaker Hon Gabriel Dewan had been directing the affairs of the assembly has translated to peaceful coexistence between the executive and the legislative arms of government in the state.”

“No doubt, the leadership style of Mr Speaker has always propelled members and citizens to toll the line of peaceful co-existence with the executive, and this has been translating to development of the state.

“We can see that the collaboration of members of the assembly with the governor is translating to the development of this state.”

“ As a group we are passing a vote of confidence on Mr Speaker Gabriel Dewan as we are determined to toll the line of peaceful co-existence for the development of our state,”

They called on the Speaker to continue to perform his excellent legislative work as Youths of the state are solidly behind him.

The group also commended Governor Caleb Mufwang for the good works he is doing in the State.
