Plateau Under Gov. Mutfwang Now a Choice Destination – Pharm. John Chun Ezekiel

By Israel Adamu, Jos

An aide to Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Pharm. John Chun Ezekiel, has declared that Plateau State, under the leadership of the governor, has become a choice destination for all.

Pharm. Ezekiel, who serves as a Director in the Plateau State Liaison Directorate in Abuja, made this statement during an interview with our correspondent in Jos on Saturday.

He highlighted Governor Mutfwang’s efforts to restore lasting peace to Plateau State, emphasizing his commitment to fostering unity and protecting the state’s heritage.

“Since assuming office, Governor Caleb Mutfwang has worked tirelessly to restore peace and progress to Plateau. One historic effort was the inauguration of the first-ever Plateau Unity Christmas Carol and Praise Festival, which brought together distinguished personalities, including former Head of State Gen. Yakubu Gowon and former President Olusegun Obasanjo,” Ezekiel noted.

The event, held at the Ten Commandments Prayer Altar in Doi, Jos South Local Government Area, saw citizens and dignitaries participate in a powerful display of praise and worship, symbolizing the restoration of peace and a milestone for the state’s unity and prophetic destiny.

“Plateau has endured many challenges, but under Governor Mutfwang’s leadership, the state is experiencing recovery and healing,” Ezekiel added.

He praised the governor’s efforts in revitalizing the state’s tourism sector, particularly the revamp of the Jos Wildlife Park, and highlighted other achievements such as the formal agreement with Aviare Global Concepts Limited to reconstruct Plateau Resort and Hotels Limited to international standards.

“This ambitious project aims to revitalize Plateau’s tourism sector and significantly boost its economy,” he said.

Pharm. Ezekiel further lauded Governor Mutfwang’s strides in physical security and infrastructure development, as well as his commitment to economic growth.

“Governor Mutfwang’s introduction of the Tin City Metro Urban Transportation Initiative has generated between 500 and 1,000 job opportunities, tackling transportation challenges faced by citizens,” he explained.

He also commended the governor and the state’s Honorable Commissioner of Transport, Davou Gyang, for providing free train services within the Jos-Bukuru metropolis. “This initiative benefits over a thousand grateful passengers daily and demonstrates exceptional leadership during challenging economic times,” Ezekiel remarked.

Pharm. Ezekiel emphasized that the governor’s administration remains focused on promoting local content, creating a business-friendly environment, and fulfilling electoral promises to Plateau residents.

“Our governor has redeemed the lost glory of Plateau in the shortest time possible. His footprints are evident across all sectors of the economy,” he said.

He called on the people of Plateau State to continue supporting Governor Mutfwang’s administration, assuring them that he would revamp all critical sectors of the state.

“Keep faith in Governor Caleb Mutfwang as he leads Plateau toward unity, progress, and sustainable development,” Ezekiel urged citizens.
