By Israel Adamu, Jos

The leadership of the Plateau State Youth Council (PYC) has extended warm congratulations to the National Association of Plateau State Students (NAPSS) on the peaceful and successful conduct of their elections, which led to the emergence of a new set of executives, with Comrade Formula Wetkur as National President.

In a statement signed by Bahal Nanpyal Mark, the State Public Relations Officer of the Plateau Youth Council, on behalf of Diplomat Panan Dapar Gongden, Chairman of the Council, the PYC described the election outcome as a testament to the confidence Plateau students have in their new leaders.

“Your emergence is indeed a clear testament to the confidence the entirety of Plateau State students have in you, and it only confirms that much shall also be expected from you all,” the statement read.

“As you assume this new responsibility, we look forward to fostering strong partnerships and collaborations with you to unite our voices and efforts towards building a future where the potentials of our youths and students on the Plateau are fully realized. Through cooperation and mutual support, we can drive meaningful change, empower more young leaders, and chart a course toward sustainable development and progress.”

The PYC also commended the Senate arm of NAPSS, the Electoral Committee, and the combined efforts of all security agencies whose contributions ensured the success of the election process.

“We offer our sincere prayers and best wishes to you all as you embark on this significant journey,” the statement concluded.
