Police Arrest 65 Year Old, 2 Others For Raping 11 Year Old Girl in Taraba

Taraba state Police command has on Monday paraded Three persons l paraded before for allegedly defiling an 11 year old girl in Jalingo.

The suspects were identified as Ahmadu Garba 65, Abubakar Bala 37 and Suleman Ahmadu.

It was further gathered that the young lady was under the custody of the 65 years old Garba where he doesn’t only defiled her, but also alleged to invite his friends to have sex with her which is believed to be for commercial purpose.

While parading them, the Taraba state police spokesman, DSP David Misal, told newsmen that the lead culprit (Garba) has been using the girl for a commercial purpose in the past three months. ”

One of the unidentified suspects whom the police claimed is at large, they said would soon be track down as relevant mechanisms was said to have been put in place by the commissioner.

The suspects according to the police ” have stayed with her for three months and have being abusing her sexually

The arrest of the suspects, he said was made possible following tip off from some good samaritans, stating that the command is making every possible efforts to trace and relocate the girl who as at the time of filing this report is in under the care of the police.

Stressing that the commissioner has directed for the immediate arrest of the yet to identify suspects, the suspects as made known by him “would soon be charge to court.
