Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has added another title to his name. The street sensation was crowned King of Streets in Ore, Ondo State, in a grand traditional ceremony.
In a video shared on his Instagram, Portable appeared alongside Yoruba traditional rulers dressed in a white cultural outfit. He received a crown, beads, and royal blessings during the event. Following his coronation, Portable gifted money to the rulers, sparking widespread celebrations in the area.
Social media erupted with mixed reactions:
- Oluwakemi_o: “Make e no later drag them.”
- Yomidee: “Who dem go crown queen among his wives?”
- Westy Baba: “Portable go trend till thy kingdom come! King of Street.”
This isn’t Portable’s first recognition. Last year, he was conferred the chieftaincy title Amuludun of Tigbo in Aworiland. Additionally, in June, he earned the title Godfather of Single Mothers in his community.
The Zazuu Zeh crooner continues to blend controversy with cultural milestones, solidifying his presence both as an artist and a cultural figure.
