Reps get Ag Clerk

Following the retirement of Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir, new acting Clerk House of Representatives, Patrick Giwa has been appointed.

Former Clerk, Alh Abdulkadir. officially bowed out of service on November 25, 2018 after a meritorious service to the National Assembly

However, in a circular signed by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Mr. Sanni Omolori stated that consequent upon the retirement of the clerk of the House of Representatives on 25th of November, 2018, a vacancy has occurred in that post.

Accordingly, Mr. Patrick A Giwa, the Deputy Clerk (Legislative) House of Representatives who is the most senior officer is hereby directed to resume appointment as the Acting Clerk of the House Representatives.

The appointment is with effect from 25th of November 2018

Until his appointment, Giwa was the Clerk, Public Account Committee, Director (Clerk of Committees). Director Chamber Services and Deputy Clerk House of Representatives.
