The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam has admonished the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) to give maximum support to their husbands.
Pam gave this advise when POWA Abuja Chapter paid a courtesy call to the NCPC corporate Headquarters yesterday.
The Executive Secretary who expressed appreciation for the visit compared the women to his late mother whom he values so much for her love and motherly role in his life.
He charged the delegation to always support their husbands no matter the challenges they face in their marriage as there is no marriage without challenges.
He said , “the Police Officers face a lot of challenge in the field as such, they should return home to meet a serene atmosphere, adding that the women should equally share the pains while keeping the home front intact.
While assuring POWA of his support, he urged the women to partner with other relevant organizations that could support their group.
Wife of the Commissioner of Police, FCT, Hajiaya Mariam Babaji and Leader of the POWA delegation, said that they were in the Commission to identify with the Executive Secretary, to encourage and support him for his good works and leadership role in the Commission.
She informed that the Association also came to pay a condolence visit and to commiserate with him and the entire family over the loss of his mother.
