Kano economic restoration association (KERA) has called on the federal ministry of commerce and industries to put a helping hands in order to revive some industries that were grounded so as to boost economy and open more windows of opportunities in the provision of employment s to unemployed citizens.
The group made the call in a press statement signed and issued to Daybreak news by the association’s secretary Malam Yusuf Mai Nasara, where they disclosed that ” KERA is calling on the federal ministry of commerce and industries to intervane and restore some factories and companies that were grounded for long in order to boost economic and employment opportunities to the teaming citizens as seen in the developed world “. The statement added.
Similarly, the association also called on the kano state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to bring out a strategy that would help in the restoration of some industries that were grounded in order to reduce unemployment in the state despite the economic challenges which is a global issue.
KERA further announced that ” we are now getting ready to commence an understanding tour to meet all the stakeholders that really know how to restore the grounded industries at both the state and federal government level due to ensure that some of our factories were revived to meet the global standard in terms of general production”. They concluded.
