Rivers State Attorney-General, Prof. Zacchaeus Adango, Resigns Citing Personal Principles”

*Port Harcourt* – In a significant development, Prof. Zacchaeus Adango, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Rivers State, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has tendered his resignation. Adango conveyed this decision through an official letter sent on Thursday to the state governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, via the Secretary to the State Government.

The letter, titled “Notice of Resignation as Honourable Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Rivers State,” explicitly cites personal principles as the basis for Adango’s resignation. Expressing gratitude, he thanked the governor for the opportunity to serve in his administration, acknowledging a sense of indebtedness from himself and his family.

The resignation is effective immediately, and Adango wished the governor a successful tenure while extending his highest regards.
