RMD Marks 23rd Wedding Anniversary with Heartfelt Tribute to Wife

Nollywood icon Richard Mofe-Damijo, affectionately known as R.M.D., recently took to Instagram to celebrate his 23rd wedding anniversary with his wife. Sharing a heartwarming picture capturing a moment of shared laughter, R.M.D. expressed joy and surprise at reaching this significant milestone.

In the post, set to the backdrop of Timi Dakolo’s love song “Iyawo Mi,” the couple radiated happiness as they marked 23 years of love and companionship. In the touching caption, R.M.D. lovingly referred to his wife as “Abiks,” revealing a more intimate and tender side of the renowned actor.

This celebration of enduring love is not a first for R.M.D., who has consistently used social media to express gratitude and affection for his wife. On their 22nd anniversary last year, he shared a heartfelt post, showcasing his commitment to their journey together. In 2021, the actor also marked their 21st anniversary with a touching Instagram tribute, emphasizing the deep connection they share.

Adding to the festivities, R.M.D. garnered attention on January 20, 2023, as he celebrated his wife’s 51st birthday. Despite adhering to her clear instructions against sharing her picture, R.M.D. playfully navigated the situation by posting a picture of himself. In his birthday tribute, he expressed profound love for his wife, highlighting the joy she brings to his life and emphasizing that her love extends not only from him but from everyone around her.
