Eze’s frustration is shared by others in the industry. Yoruba actor Kevin Ikeduba slammed Nollywood for its fakeness. He pointed out how many in the industry pretend to be someone they are not. He also highlighted the lack of genuine love among colleagues.

Cynthia Morgan echoed similar complaints about the music industry. She criticized the fake love and friendships. People only remember you when you’re trending or can help with their work. Morgan shared that, during her struggles, only a few people supported her.
