Scores feared killed as petrol tanker explodes In Jos

Many people are feared dead after a petrol-laden tanker exploded at Bauchi road in Jos North local government council of Plateau State.

Our correspondent gathered that the explosion occurred on Thursday afternoon at about 1 30 Pm .

Although details of the incident are still sketchy, an unconfirmed number of persons were affected by the inferno, including cars , shops and buildings around the axis

An eye witness told our correspondent that so far about 6 bodies have been recovered from the scene.

The number of injured persons was yet to be verified as of the time of filling this report
