Security; Committee Saddled With Establishment Of Sokoto State Community Guards Corps Concluded Its sensitization tour Of The Thirteen LGAs

The visit started at Tureta Local government, where the committee was received by the sole administrator of the area Alhaji Umar Ahmad Dan Agaye.

Dan Agaye appreciated the State Government for the gesture and promised to ensure fairness and justice during the exercise.

Also speaking, Magajin Tsamiya who was represented by Sule Buda asked members of the Comittee about the varrying age liimitation during the recruitment exercise

Responding,the chairman of the Committee said any eligible person can be recruited without age varier.

From Tureta Local government area the committee moved to kebbe as the last local government slated by the committee.

receiving the committee the sole administrator Alh Sanusi Abubakar, commended them for their commitment towards achieving set objective.

The General Manager Alu Ya Gode Television, Bashar Abubakar also disclosed that Alhaji Sanusi also applauded the state government for facing the issue of insecurity squarely in the state with a view of fighting the menace.

On his part, the chairman of the committee Alhaji Yusha’u Muhammad Kebbe described the Sensitization tour as important to the selected local governments mostly effected by the insecurity.

Yusha’u Kebbe also urged the politicians in the state not to use their positions and change the initial arrangement by the state government towards achieving the plan targeted for the exercise.

So far the committee visited 13 Local government areas as scheduled, as it will now commence the recruitment exercise as soon as possible.
